  Our Mission Statement

The Ark Animal Hospital has a keen awareness of the human animal bond and considers it a privilege to be able to contribute to it. We value excellence and integrity, quality Veterinary care, compassion and respect for all life. We are committed to constant learning and growing. We treat our coworkers with dignity and a congenial atmosphere of healing and opportunity.

In order to maintain our standard of excellence, and our long-term success,  our fees are fair and promote  our continued growth; a portion of the profits will always be given to help our community.

We will alleviate suffering in our patients and strive to prolong their lives with owners that we help educate.

We love what we are doing; so we do it well and as a team .

It's getting hot out there, and when the mercury rises monitor your pets to prevent overheating and worse.

With our generally warm local climate, dogs and cats should stay on Heartworm and flea prevention year-round.

If you have an after-hours emergency call  (843) 238-1414. Or, the Animal Emergency Hospital of the Strand is available at (843) 445-9797.
